the author

Andy is a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where an exclusively fast-food diet launched his study of American eating.  The culinary awakening he has since experienced has opened his mind, improved his health, and left him with a lot of questions.  Where does culture meet consumption?  Are ethics market-driven?  Am I still allowed to eat white bread?

By exploring this gap between what we believe and what we buy, Andy walks the fault between the American conscience and the American way.  He aims to reconcile the two through his studies at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration.

Andy, this is a very interesting and original blog, especially for me that being italian means “knowing about food”. I am going to look forward for new posts.
